Jackman is a Japanese brand with a history that begins with its founder's passion for American baseball. In 1949, Mitsugu Tanabe decided to open a clothing factory in Fukui, Japan, to make socks, uniforms, and gloves. His products gained a cult following for their quality and craftsmanship.

Today, they continue to make all their clothing in that same factory, using the same vintage machines and techniques to control quality and maintain the legacy of baseball-inspired designs.
