The 'Blouson Bleu' is a replica of an old French workwear garment, adapted to a modern (slim) fit. The fabric was specially made by a small artisan weaver in Alsace, France, using indigo thread produced in Barcelona, by one of the few remaining specialists in southern Europe.
The fabric's herringbone structure and indigo tone on both sides offer great fading potential. To achieve this, we recommend daily use, at least six months before the first wash. The interiors are enlivened with a blue chambray deadstock, made in Barcelona in the 1980s.
This jacket is one of our favorite pieces. The quality of the construction, attention to detail, and materials used make it truly unique.

When it's time to wash it, we suggest using cold water (rather use cold water) and drying it in the sun.
During the first few days, it's common for the fabric to release a little indigo dye. We suggest you avoid exercising with it or swimming in the ocean. This will lessen over time.
